Today was Super Hero Day!

We also discussed who real

super heros are, the every day heros!

I was very impressed when some of the

students showed up as everyday heros!

Mykayla's Last Day Dec 20

It is a sad day in grade one

at Pleasantdale school:(

Our friend Mykayla is moving,

we wish her luck on her new

adventure but we will sure miss her!

On the last day of school before

winter break we got to wear our

pajama's and watch a movie in the

gym with the whole school!

Christmas Around the World 12/19

For our Christmas around the World unit

Mrs Hamilton's grade ones joined us.

We learned about how the people in

other countries celebrate Christmas

and what their traditions are!

This was so informative and fun!

On the last day we had a celebration

and did some of the things other

people do in other parts of the world.

We had Christmas "crackers" and

then a Pinata in the gym.

We had our Christmas Concert today!

Two shows and we were fabulous in both!
